We require a 48 hour cancellation notice. If you are a no show/no answer we will charge a $50 non refundable deposit to book your next appointment. If you have an emergency & you reschedule your appointment before the time we show up at your business or residence, we will waive this deposit. This policy is in place out of respect for our staff and our clients. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot. Our scheduling is completed by geographical regions. If we have a gap due to a cancellation, we need to spend extra money on gas and for labor for our workers who are waiting to Detail their next vehicle. In order for us to keep our prices low we must follow this policy.
Wax & paint sealants are very similar, they are both a type of sealer that protects your paint from oxidation, bird droppings, tar, dirt, ect. Wax covers & fills more imperfections but paint sealers typically lasts longer. Our True Carnauba wax lasts up to 3 months while our Car-pro reload paint sealant lasts up to 6 months. Ceramic pro is completely different from waxes & sealants. It is a permanent coating, similar to a clear coat but much harder & more durable. It acts as a sacrificial layer to give your paint superior protection, more than any other product on the market. It resists extreme temperatures, most scratches, oxidation & all kinds of surface contaminants. We have packages that last from one year to lifetime and most packages come with a limited warranty. See our Ceramic Pro tab for more info.
The main reason is to maintain the value of the vehicle. Your car is exposed to the harshest of elements every day. While we don’t realize it, the chemicals in the air, dirt from the road, and nature’s other elements(especially the sun, bugs and birds) do a great deal of damage to the paint surface of our car. We tend to be pretty tough on the interiors as well. Dirt gets ground into our seats and carpets every time we sit or twist in our seats or get in and out of our cars. This dirt wears down the fibers of fabric and the surface of leather and over time, we end up with tears in our fabric and carpet or cracks in our leather. Additionally, there is the peace of mind you get when driving a car that is always in showroom condition. After all, that’s why we like buying new cars, isn’t it—for that “new” feeling? It relieves stress and makes our daily drives and commutes a little bit more bearable when we don’t have to sit in a dirty car. We maintain our engines, transmissions, tires, etc., but we never stop to think about the value that our car loses by not maintaining the appearance. In comparison to the cost of the vehicle, detailing is an inexpensive way to keep the value and make our everyday commutes a little more enjoyable!
While you only need to have your car fully detailed every 3-6 months, depending on your driving habits, you should still have it cleaned every 2-4 weeks. If you’re a road warrior and spend a lot of time on the road, you may want to have a basic service done as much as every week. It really depends on your needs. High-line cars should be meticulously cared for at least every week to 2 weeks to maintain it and keep as much of it’s original condition, value and luster as possible. It really depends on your personal usage and the level of concern you have for your vehicle.
Absolutely! This should be handled as soon as it happens. The chemicals from these elements are naturally acidic. They can and will eat through the clear coat on your vehicle and can eventually even get through the paint. Detailing can only do so much if it’s not taken care of promptly, and it’s certainly cheaper than having to have an entire area of your vehicle repainted.
We cannot perform the service when the weather is below 50 degrees because we cannot apply the wax properly. Our rain policy is as follows, if it is raining or there is over 50% chance of rain at the time of your appointment we will have to re-schedule. This prevents us from starting a vehicle we can’t finish because it starts raining.
The great thing about luxury vehicles is that not only are they nice to own and drive, as long as they are well cared for, they can be great resellers when you are ready to move on to a new vehicle. Aside from mechanical neglect, appearance is the number one thing that will determine a good resale value on a luxury vehicle from a poor one. Detail Pros offers no-hassle service agreements designed with the luxury vehicle owner in mind. These programs are designed to offer the maximum benefit to the owner while at the same time alleviating the concern of maintaining your vehicle’s appearance. We take care of it all for you on a set schedule.
Absolutely! However we are only open as weather permits in the winter (50 degrees or higher). Our winter schedule is updated every Sunday and we open up appointments as the weather allows Dec through March. In this area we see an average of 3 big snow storms per winter & we treat the roads with a mixture of salt & sand to melt the ice & snow on the roads. When this mixture gets on your vehicle, not only does it look bad but it’s not good for your paint either. Simply getting your vehicle washed will get some of this mixture off your car but not all of it. In addition if you use a car wash with brushes, the salt & sand will leave scratches on your paint. You should have your vehicle fully detailed prior to the start of winter to give your paint some protection from these elements & after heavy salt/sand exposure.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, cash, Zelle, Cash app & checks made out to “Detail Pros”.
Tips are not required but always appreciated. A lot of people ask how much the average tip is & the answer is roughly 10-15% of the total.
